September is the month were we not only go back to work, but it is also the month where we start to move our wardrobe from summer to autumn with new season’s edits. Great transitions colours are deep yellows, mustard, deep orange or terracota paired with cadet blues, black or grey.

For the first day back at work my advice is to choose your favourite dress that makes you not only feel good  but as well look good and edit it with a new season bag or shoes.  It is always difficult to get back into work  mode, so it is best to wear a dress you know that you can rely on rather wearing something new. This combination will guarantee you an engerised and current look, which is as well called the power dressing code. The dressing aim should be : The best version of yourself!

Last not least don’t forget your body shape when dressing for work and when buying new season’s edits. Size doesn’t equal suitability and not all handbags, shoulder bags and shoes automatically fit our body shape. Keep in mind to dress for visual balance in your look. Otherwise you will look more of a fashion amateur then a fashion pro!
