Hold ups

Hold ups

Features

These tights come without the inconvenience of a suspender belt but are held up via an elasticised silicon band at the top of the leg. Beautiful deep lace bands or soft flat silicone tops made to lie flat against your skin. For the best fit, the holdup should be worn half way up your thigh, and it should be snug, but not a tight, fit.

Look & Feel

They are a great choice for summer and for a business entire. Also they are easier to wear under close fitting clothes than stockings.

Who can wear it best?

In general every woman can wear it.

  • Body Shape Any body shape can wear them the only excepting will be the colouring in the tights. Inverted triangle will look great with a stronger colour or pattern to create attention in their lower part of the party to create visual balance. While the rules are exactly the opposite for pear body shape women. They are best to keep the leg line in neutral, darker and solid colours only.
  • Body Proportion When you have a longer body and shorter legs keep your holds up in solid, neutral and deeper colours only to elongate your leg line. If you have a short body and longer legs, do exactly the opposite. Have a play with colour and pattern to shorten visually your leg line- considering you have small to average calves and knees.
  • Height Based on the fact you have small to average calves you are best to choose holds up with pattern and/ or colour to shorten visually your height. If you have big calves & knees that stick to solid, neutral and darker shades, but go for subtle colour blocking in your look.

  • Calf Size This is style to show off great legs, so this style can be only worn women with small to an average calf size and knees. Anything else will be simply unflattering.
  • Body Shape

    -IDEAL-

They will look work perfectly for neat hourglass, lean column, inverted triangle and rectangle body shape, because they either highlight a perfect leg line or create visual balance to their body shape by adding roundness or volume to their body shape.

    -Not Good-

This style won't look good on the pear since it is visually adding volume to their fullest part- even if you have great calves and knees- this style won't work with your body shape. As well the apple and full hourglass body shape won't look good in them because it adds visually to much volume and roundness to their body shapes.

  • Body Proportion It is a perfect choice for women with a shorter body and longer legs since this style will give them visual balance by shortening their leg line. That means women with a long body and short legs should stay away from this style.
  • Height A wonderful option for average to tall women - either to show of their height and for the other to visually shorten their height.
