Writer/PR

Joy of Clothes, www.joyofclothes.com, the online fashion business is looking for an excellent writer . The first project is simply to write and distribute a launch press release for the relaunched site which will include innovative and interactive style advice to help people find the clothes which suit their body shape and colouring. Long term there is an opportunity to work with the founder/stylist on a number of writing projects. Candidates should have a passion for fashion and have empathy with the Joy of Clothes mission and website. Experience and contacts with the fashion and wedding press will also be important. Please include CV and examples of work and ideally references and testimonials. Although much of the work can be done remotely/via skype it will be necessary to meet in central or north west london regularly.

Web Designer

Joy of clothes the online fashion business www.joyofclothes.com is looking for a web designer to help on a number of design projects.

What we are looking for;

  • Experience with Photoshop, web design and email. Ideally also have experience of Fireworks and Word Press
  • A dynamic, self starter, a problem solver with a 'can do' attitude who is interested to work with the founders of an ambitious start up company. There is a real opportunity to make a difference.
  • Passionate about fashion, brands, the web ,social media ,ecommerce and mobile
  • Initially about 10 days in the next 6 weeks and then regular involvement.

Work from home with regular meetings in central and northwest london and skype.

Rate £8/hour

  • Design tasks for the Joy of Clothes website www.joyofclothes.com
  • Page designs ,banner ads and home page features
  • Email design templates using Mailchimp
  • Twitter and blog page designs using Word Press
  • Ebook page design

DIGITAL FASHION ILLUSTRATOR WITH FASHION STYLING AND PRODUCTION EXPERIENCE

Joy of Clothes www.joyofclothes.com is a fashion portal with advice and tools to help you choose the perfect outfits for your bodyshape, and also allows you to buy them online. We are currently working on an exciting new project and are looking for a talented and creative professional with experience in the fields of fashion illustration, fashion production and styling for different bodyshapes.
Location: London

Requirements:

  • Should hold a Fashion - based degree, either in Illustration, Design, Styling or Product development.
  • Must have very strong MAC and Adobe Illustrator skills (CS4)
  • Must specialise in vector illustration.
  • Should have strong organisational and leadership skills, as the position will require managing a team of illustrators.
  • In addition to Illustration skills, should also have experience in fashion styling or fashion experience working with bodyshapes, with a view to evolve in this position and enter the area of bespoke fashion production overseas

Job Description:

  • Work under the direction of the Founders to manage a team of illustrators and deliver a high quantity of vector illustrations to according to brief.
  • Monitor and direct all illustrations being made, delivering them to the web design team up to spec.
  • Create and manage database of illustrations.

Salary £20,000pa
