Who can wear drawstring bags best?

Drawstring bags are back in in our fashion focus. They are a covetable everyday accessory and ideal for an understated off-duty look.

But they are not flattering every body shape. They are best for lean column, rectangle, inverted triangle and neat hourglass body shapes, because they are adding volume and roundness to these body shapes where they can take it and/ or need in order to create harmony and visual balance in their body shape.

It is not ideal for apple and full hourglass body shapes. These shapes have already enough curves and roundness and adding more can make them look to full. It is better for the body shapes to go opposite when choosing their shoulder bags.  As cute and popular they are pears should avoid this style of bag since it is adding simply volume and attention to the part where we are the fullest. It simply doesn’t do us any any favours. Keep the attention with bags higher up.

Hot Property: Mandarin-red hue bags!

The 70s fashion was alive with fun loving colours -especially orange with all its hues.  This season the colour “mandarin-red ” is going to be one of the favourite bag colours- it is not too bright but still an eye-catching accent to your outfit. A colour that makes you simply smile- exactly what is needed when we feel a little bit low. So, make a statement and a add a pop of colour-  clash it with an array of rainbow hues or to monochrome palettes.

Colour Metallics- which looks best on me!

The metallics are back in fashion. Pastels, nudes, bold- in every fabric from silk to lurex- the choices seem to be endless.  Once you know your dominant colour (which is based on your personal colouring) you’ll know which type of tones and shades of metallic look best on you and which look just ok. Also, note that colours will either lose or gain intensity with your choice of fabric

‘The best colour in the whole world is the one looks good on you’.

  • St. James Large: £299.00

Great choice for most body shapes- just not for inverted triangle body shape

  • Silk Crystal Clutch: £125.00

A special occasion clutch that works for all body shapes, just that a pear body shape is better adviced to carry it under their arms rather holding it.  It is exactly the opposite for the inverted triangle.

  • Bedford Buckle Purse: £99.00

It makes especially a great investment buys for women who have the dominant colour soft, warm and deep.

  • Catwalk Ring Belt: £90.00

It is only suitable for women who have a normal to a long waist. A waist belt needs space to sit and fit. Otherwise it will be just moving up and down in the waist area.

  • Lips Print Scarf £40.00

Best for women with an average to long neck. No matter if it is thin or medium wide. Just not a good choice for women with a short and/or wide neck. Scarf need space to “breath” otherwise they clutter the little space between face and   shoulder.
